Meet the CEO

Judith Díaz Myers

Judith Díaz Myers is CEO and founder of the Dovetail Leadership Group LLC. As a former C-Suite Executive (Senior Executive, SES) with 31 years of experience in the US Federal Government, with the last 16 years as a SES leading people and complex technical change initiatives related to the design and development of the new design (colored) US currency banknotes that facilitate commerce worldwide. In this capacity, she led the Interagency Currency Design (ICD) Group and worked closely with the US Central Bank (Federal Reserve Board), the US Department of Treasury and the US Secret Service. Her leadership resulted in the design, development and release of the new design (colored) $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 US Federal Reserve Notes that included new security features, detection methodologies and engineering adaptations for successful manufacturing and high-speed authentication. After completing the roll-out of a suite of newly designed banknotes, Judith expanded her career portfolio and professional identity by serving as an Executive Chief Diversity Officer and Equal Opportunity Officer for a geographically dispersed government organization.

Judith is a highly experienced International Coaching Federation (ICF) Master Certified Coach (MCC), one of only 2,140 worldwide according to the ICF Credential Fact Sheet as of August 2023.

She boasts extensive experience in coaching and mentoring, with a multifaceted background that includes roles as a Governance Board member, faculty member, Coaching Instructor, and Mentor Coach for OPM and Treasury Executive Institute (TEI) Coaching Programs. She has also excelled as a Team Coach with an expectation of attaining ICF Team Coaching certification, a Group Coach who has successfully conducted numerous group coaching sessions with Senior Leaders, and a Mentor Coach at the University of Texas (Dallas). Additionally, Judith is recognized as a Coach Supervisor, accredited through the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).

Through her personal and professional experiences with coaching, she embraces the benefits of expanding her capacity in emotional and positive intelligence, team building, facilitation, leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills, as these are the skills that empower each of us to be change leaders. In her professional capacity, she took on various roles, constantly challenging her ability to navigate the uncertainty of ‘not knowing and deepening her ability to coach those at this crossroads. Her diversified career portfolio gives her a unique professional identity that evolved alongside her technical prowess, and a desire to be a lifelong learner who serves others through coaching and leadership development. She has a passion for working with successful leaders, executives, business entrepreneurs and their teams who sense that there’s more… and who want to expand themselves and explore the possibilities.

Judith has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from St. Louis University. She loves gardening and has been a dance, gymnastics and Yogalates teacher for over 30 years. She resides in South/Central Virginia, USA, and is married with an adult son.
